The Kolog Recycling and Recovery Initiative (KRRI) rewards households and businesses that separate recyclable materials with verified credits on their waste management invoices.

What It Is

A structured recycling programme with real incentives

KRRI is a formal recycling and material recovery programme operated by Kolog Nigeria Limited. It is designed to divert recyclable materials from landfill by providing a structured, transparent process for collection, weighing, baling, and credit allocation.

Participants separate accepted recyclable materials at source, request a pickup, and receive verified credits against their next waste management invoice. This is not a donation or goodwill initiative. It is a structured programme with clear processes and measurable outcomes.

All collected materials are weighed on-site, documented, and processed at our baling facility before being sent to downstream recyclers for reprocessing.

Who It Is For

Households and businesses participating in KRRI

Households

Any household within our Sangotedo and Ajah service area can participate. Separate your recyclables, request a pickup, and receive credits. The programme is open to individual homes, estates, and residential compounds.

Businesses

Offices, shops, restaurants, and other commercial establishments that generate recyclable materials in meaningful quantities. Businesses benefit from both invoice credits and improved waste management compliance documentation.

Separate Materials

Sort your recyclable materials at home or in your business. Keep PET bottles, cartons, nylon, and aluminium cans separate from general waste.

Request Pickup

Submit a recycling pickup request through our contact form, phone, or WhatsApp when you have a reasonable volume ready for collection.

We Weigh & Bale

Our team collects your materials, weighs them on-site with documented records, and transports them to our baling facility for processing.

Credits Applied

After verification, credits are applied to your next waste management invoice. Amounts are based on material type and weight.

What we do not accept

Electronic waste (phones, computers, TVs, chargers, cables)
Batteries of any type (AA, car batteries, lithium-ion)
Glass bottles and containers (not yet part of KRRI)
Contaminated or soiled recyclables (must be clean and dry)
Mixed waste that has not been separated at source

We are actively working to expand the range of accepted materials. Glass and e-waste are under evaluation for future inclusion in the programme.
